The North West of England includes the counties of Cheshire, Lancashire and Cumbria, with its famous Lake District to the north. With market towns such Ambleside, Keswick and Kendal and beautiful lakes such as Windermere, Derwent, Coniston and Grasmere, the Lake District is justifiably very popular with visitors. For walking, climbing, bird watching, fishing or simply taking in the views this is a delightful area to visit. The cities to the south include Manchester and Liverpool with attractions such as Old Trafford, Granada Studios and the Albert Docks.
